it was fine
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great location, decent building, has central ac
Cons:
i swear the windows were made of paper because i could hear EVERY sound outside. literally could hear people on the street having full conversations at a normal volume from my unit on the 3rd floor. it was so loud at night that sleep was difficult.
other than that, the building is just very bare bones. no dishwasher, no laundry, etc. but it’s livable.

Could be so much better
Former Tenant
Pros:
Good location, close to trains and restaurants/bars
Cons:
Dirty
Poor communication
Landlords don’t fix anything no matter how many maintenance requests you put in.
Seems like they’re slowly letting this building crumble

A nice Brooklyn starter
Former Tenant
Pros:
Outside is clean. Entry is elevated above trash. Neighbor seem to be respectful of trash. Very bright and great sunlight.
Cons:
Takes forever to get in contact with the superintendent. Random people that don’t live in the building regularly party on the rooftop and the superintendent seems not to care. Someone burned a hole through my roof and he took the building manager over two months to fix the issue. Very expensive for the size and very little storage. Parking is terrible and the area is still very high in violent crime.
Advice to owner:
Take the time to listen to your buildings residence and most importantly when they reach out to you make sure you make it your job to get back to them. Be more vigilant with removing graffiti especially from windows. Do not allow random person’s on the roof that can cause damages.
