Mice infected building
Former Tenant
Pros:
Location is great
Cons:
My unit had electrical board as a heat, so when the winter came my coned bill came around 400$ for small studio apartment back in 2017. While heat was included I had to fight with managment to pay it, so for that reason they didn’t extended my lease stating the reason is that I isn’t cooperate with managment. On top of it mice lives in the walls so when winter comes they becoming your roommates and you can hear them running around, managment doesn’t do anything about it, I ended up spending over 1k , that barely solve the problem because building as a whole needs to be exterminated. Of course I never got reimbursed for anything. They are poor managment company that scums tenant for money. Plus they come to your apartment move stuff and don’t even notify you, so you think you have been robbed
Advice to owner:
Get a real managment company to manage your property otherwise it makes you a slamlord

Expensive college apartment experience
Former Tenant
Pros:
Safe building. Working elevator most of the time.
Cons:
Terrible owner responsiveness. Not open to rent negotiation. Refuse to help with repairs during the pandemic! Thing do not get repair, I got talk down by a broker when I complained about a broken fixture: “not our responsibility to change lightbulbs” I calmly reply that the lightbulb was not the issue and he just hiss and walked away.
Advice to owner:
Have real people help tenants, don’t hide behind a corporate machine to ignore requests.
