LACK OF SECURITY.
Advice to owner:
INSTALL SECURITY GATE AT ENTRY TO STOOP WHICH IS HIDDEN FROM STREET. TENANTS ARE INTIMIDATED BY HOMELESS MAN WHO HAS HIT AND SPAT IN THEIR FACES WHEN THEY ENTER OR LEAFE THE BLBD.

Marketed as a 2 bedroom (c) openigloo when it’s a legal one (c) openigloo bedroom, rooftop next to bedroom (c) openigloo with window throws loud parties (c) openigloo every weekend, displaced people on (c) openigloo the stoop 24/7 (not an (c) openigloo exaggeration), drug use and bodily (c) openigloo fluids consistently found on stoop, (c) openigloo completely unresponsive management (have never (c) openigloo been able to reach anyone (c) openigloo via phone besides the super), (c) openigloo old water boiler that provides (c) openigloo low water pressure and extremely (c) openigloo loud radiator, multiples bugs and (c) openigloo roaches found in apartment on (c) openigloo daily basis, bedrooms do not (c) openigloo come with closets, no natural (c) openigloo light in apartment minus the (c) openigloo bedroom, packages consistently stolen, from (c) openigloo door lock broke several (c) openigloo times in one year .

Do Your Job

Management and super are worthless.

Cons:
You really had to nudge (c) openigloo management to get anything done. (c) openigloo Cockroaches were a big problem (c) openigloo starting in the spring.

Quiet, pretty east place to (c) openigloo live.
Cons:
Terribly cockroach situation in the (c) openigloo summer. Hard to get property (c) openigloo management to come take care (c) openigloo of that and other little (c) openigloo things, but they usually fixed (c) openigloo the problem eventually.
Really bad renovation and communication

Layout of apartment was nice, (c) openigloo location solid, and neighbors were (c) openigloo very considerate.
Cons:
Even at higher floors, street-side (c) openigloo apartments have *very* loud noise (c) openigloo from daily traffic. Management responsive (c) openigloo sometimes, but not consistently in (c) openigloo cases of emergency (ie, roof (c) openigloo literally leaking, hot water not (c) openigloo working repeatedly, oven not being (c) openigloo functional for months).
No complaints here!

High ceilings are gorgeous and (c) openigloo and move in condition was (c) openigloo good.

-The company falsely advertised laundry (c) openigloo in unit but said they (c) openigloo couldn’t show it bc it (c) openigloo was closed for minor repairs. (c) openigloo Lived here for 2 years (c) openigloo and never had laundry access. (c) openigloo - The super is unreliable (c) openigloo and low key petty. We (c) openigloo couldn’t change our lightbulbs without (c) openigloo an industrial ladder and it (c) openigloo took literal months to get (c) openigloo Manny (the super) to help (c) openigloo us. I had to email (c) openigloo management bc he wouldn’t even (c) openigloo answer his phone. And when (c) openigloo he would finally respond after (c) openigloo I reached out to management (c) openigloo he was openly hostile. He (c) openigloo was also super creepy when (c) openigloo I got stuck in the (c) openigloo elevator and made comments about (c) openigloo my body— did not appreciate (c) openigloo that at all. Did not (c) openigloo feel safe or welcome reaching (c) openigloo out to the Super. - (c) openigloo Management is sketchy as fuck. (c) openigloo I had to threaten to (c) openigloo not pay rent to get (c) openigloo my lease renewal paperwork (a (c) openigloo month late!). I wouldn’t have (c) openigloo renewed but it was too (c) openigloo expensive to move at the (c) openigloo time and some circumstances changed. (c) openigloo They didn’t return my deposit (c) openigloo for 3 months even though (c) openigloo I left the apartment in (c) openigloo move in condition. - The (c) openigloo apartments are not worth what (c) openigloo they charge for them, 3k (c) openigloo for a two bedroom without (c) openigloo the amenities they promised and (c) openigloo an absent (to put it (c) openigloo mildly) Super. -The elevator is comically (c) openigloo slow. TLDR: do not live here. (c) openigloo Management and the Super are (c) openigloo sketchy as hell and do (c) openigloo not give a damn about (c) openigloo their tenants. If you sign (c) openigloo a lease here, you’ll think (c) openigloo back to this moment and (c) openigloo wish you listened to this (c) openigloo review.
Advice to owner:
Hire a better super and replace his support staff. Fix the laundry. Lower the rent. Don’t be greedy and rude AF about the deposit and paperwork that you are LEGALLY REQUIRED to provide. And finally, bite me.
