This building used to be nice
Former Tenant
Pros:
It was new when I moved in, clean and quiet.
Cons:
They let any and everyone move in. Which makes it dangerous.
Advice to owner:
There’s people who live in the building who know about building codes…yall may want to do an overhaul before we start calling.

Good / Bad
Former Tenant
Pros:
The building is brand new so it’s rare for any repairs besides any electrical stuff or water pipes.
Cons:
The super Hector is a narcissist and treat single mothers with a lack of respect. He’s an harassing person and just overall a rude person. He’s also very slow with repairs and I’ve waited over a year to repair a problem with my stove. He doesn’t like to do his job but of course they’ll keep him because of the union. He also has dogs which are not licensed as service dogs yet harasses tenants for having one as well. This guy is just all over the place, please find a replacement.

Poor Management
Former Tenant
Pros:
The only thing I like about this building is that my unit have two bathrooms.
Cons:
The building is not kept clean daily during the COVID-19 Guideline. The super Hector is racist and rude. The intercom haven’t worked in over six months. Fire exits door is locked and management haven’t provide tenants with key. One tenant on the 2nd floor consistently disturbing the peace at 1 am, 2am, 3am, 4am etc. This building is poorly managed. No heat for my living room and bedroom for the entire winter. 10/20 until. Still broken
Advice to owner:
Wavecrest Management, need to be remove for this property. Poor work ethic, poor communication, tenant confidentiality is not being met. Super is lazy but because this is a union position, they won’t terminate him. Therefore you get a poor review.

Management allows super’s criminal behavior
Former Tenant
Pros:
The rent is decent
Cons:
The super is HORRIBLE. He and his wife had had multiple altercations with the tenants. He has a multitude of complaints against him for his behavior against women and people of color and management ignores the complaints. The supers wife even out her hands in a child. He also doesn’t reply to tenants complaints for repairs and instead tries to stir up trouble. It makes no sense that management will allow a super who behaves in such a way to remain on the premises. The super allows people to smoke and this is a non smoking building. The local assembly person is getting involved with the situation.
Advice to owner:
Listen to your tenants…especially when MULTIPLE WOMEN OF COLOR are complaining about aggression from the super. People are documenting and speaking with local politicians.

I was disappointed in the building once I moved in
Former Tenant
Pros:
I like the fact that the building is keep clean
Cons:
I don’t like the laundry room equipment is always broke
Advice to owner:
My advise would be the super having a better communication skills with the tenants
