Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Recent tenant feedback on buildings managed by Peter Procida reveals a mixed management experience. While some appreciate the cleanliness and quiet environment, major issues persist such as slow or unresponsive maintenance, problematic superintendents exhibiting unprofessional behavior, and inadequate heating during winter. Safety concerns arise due to lax tenant screening and locked fire exits without keys. Complaints about poor communication and unresolved pest problems are common. Despite some well-maintained amenities, tenants often feel disregarded, with multiple reports of management ignoring serious tenant grievances. Prospective renters should be cautious and expect inconsistent management and potential safety and maintenance challenges.

This building used to be nice

Pros

It was new when I moved in, clean and quiet.

Cons

They let any and everyone move in. Which makes it dangerous.

Advice to the owners

There’s people who live in the building who know about building codes…yall may want to do an overhaul before we start calling.

Good / Bad

Pros

The building is brand new so it’s rare for any repairs besides any electrical stuff or water pipes.

Cons

The super Hector is a narcissist and treat single mothers with a lack of respect. He’s an harassing person and just overall a rude person. He’s also very slow with repairs and I’ve waited over a year to repair a problem with my stove. He doesn’t like to do his job but of course they’ll keep him because of the union. He also has dogs which are not licensed as service dogs yet harasses tenants for having one as well. This guy is just all over the place, please find a replacement.
