Management is great but pests aren’t
Former Tenant
Pros:
Management is very responsive, no fee building, doormen are awesome
Cons:
Pests, apartments are outdated and overpriced

Good for what I was looking for.
Former Tenant
Pros:
Loved the doormen. Everyone I interacted with was super sweet. My room was a nice size. The have building laundry room.
Cons:
My room was a nice size but the rest of the apartment was absolutely tiny. Hallway for a kitchen. I did experience a bug problem but they took care of it. The heat was finicky.
Advice to owner:
Schedule the heat in the units. Cold nights are no fun.

Not bad overall but... not worth the price
Former Tenant
Pros:
- Doormen are very friendly and communicate openly with you. I'll miss the doorman/package holding most of all!
- All utilities are included in the rent! & since there is an AC in each room, which works decently well, it's great to know you can run it as much as you want during the HOT summer because the price is included in your rent!
- Super close to lots of train lines!!!!!
Cons:
- When you take a shower the water is VERY unpredictable. Switches from Freezing to SCALDING HOT in a matter of seconds... makes it really frustrating to have a decent shower and esp in a timely manner seeing as you have to wait for the temperature to balance out again every time.
- Hot water knob for the bath (not the shower) is almost ALWAYS brown, rusty water...
- Difficult to control the radiator - it works STRONG when you don't need it and doesn't heat up enough when you do!
- When we moved in, we would get recurring splinters on our feet (even through socks!) from the wood floor... The only reason we don't get many splinters now is that we personally sanded those areas down, so we wouldn't get more splinters.
- Not a proper peephole, since you can see the person through it...
- roaches/waterbugs
- mice/rat in basement
- laundry machines that don't work properly
- chipping lead paint
Advice to owner:
Come see the apartment yourself and ask yourself if you would pay that much for this apartment...

Enjoyed so far
Former Tenant
Pros:
Doorman are great, building responds promptly to maintenance requests, overall no major pest problems, feels clean and safe.

Good location, but poor management company
Former Tenant
Pros:
1. Location
2. Friendly doorman
3. Cheaper compared to other options in the neighborhood
Cons:
1. Roach and rat issues
2. Road construction that happens at night.
3. Loud neighbor if you have bad luck
4. Some apartments on the 12th floor have water pressure issue that the building cannot resolve.
5. Unhelpful building management, and the super can be difficult.

Expensive For A Small Space
Former Tenant
Pros:
Elevator, hardwood floors, generally quiet. The doormen are lovely and very helpful, especially when moving and when you’re waiting on an important package. If Angel’s still there, he’s awesome!!
Cons:
$200 application fee is absurdly high, and included utilities are also very high. Small space for a high price.

Way too expensive for a mediocre place
Former Tenant
Pros:
Location was perfect, easy access to trains, pet friendly, laundry in building.
Cons:
Very expensive for what it was, old and run down appliances, 3 electrical outlets in the entire “2BR” apartment.
Advice to owner:
Fix it up a bit, and this will be a great place.
