Landlord does not care about wellbeing of apartment
Former Tenant
Pros:
Lots of natural light
Cons:
Management is completely unresponsive. They do not care about the well being of the apartment. When I moved in the place was completely trashed and dirty although maintence and landlord promised it would be cleaned. I highly do not recommend.

Decent Building if you don’t mind inconsiderate neighbors (not apt 1)
Former Tenant
Pros:
This apartment building is very small and recently renovated within the last 3 years. It’s in a prime location and offers great amenities, including a dishwasher, in-unit W/D, and central air.
Cons:
New neighbors recently moved in upstairs and are the most inconsiderate people I’ve ever met. Not reasonable at keeping noise down and constantly have people over. And with floors as thin as paper, you can hear every item being dragged and dropped, and even full conversations and yelling at various hours. Management also isn’t very responsive. We had a ceiling leak in our bathroom and they never came to fix it.
Advice to owner:
Be more responsive to your tenants.

Alright building, completely unresponsive and rude landlords
Former Tenant
Pros:
Everything was newly renovated. Each bedroom had windows and the unit got a lot of light. There was central air and washer dryer in unit which was very nice. The neighbors were really kind, and it was a short walk to the train.
Cons:
It was listed as 3 bedrooms of equal size and each had closets, which was not true. One bedroom is tiny without a closet. It was also listed that pets were allowed, which they weren’t, and we were shamed by the landlords for emailing asking about a pet policy and having an emotional support animal move in. There was always a new super and we never knew who it was. You just had to be lucky to catch them doing trash and ask for their name and number. The door buzzer was SO LOUD and would wake me up if someone buzzed in at night. Also, the door code never changed in my 2yrs there. This is not safe, and codes should be changed after anyone in the building moves out. I haven’t lived there since last year and i bet i could still get in with the original door code.
Advice to owner:
Learn to communicate and to not shame people for their mental illnesses. Also maybe consider changing the door code once in a while.
