Unresponsive landlord even with squatters in building hallways

Pros:
Adorable building in up and coming area. The interior is great and in fantastic condition.
Cons:
Landlord failed to address security issues when homeless population continuously lived in the building vestibule -- also consuming illicit drugs....hallways were vandalized and she only addressed once we decided to move out.

Large railroad apartment, awesome location, eat in kitchen, big bedroom, could go out onto the roof
Cons:
A lot of bugs, no amenities
Advice to owner:
Get a monthly exterminator in there!

- Roof access from window
- Stand alone kitchen
- Large layout/dining nook
- Prime Bushwick location
- Close to laundromats
Cons:
- Railroad style (not ideal for 2 people)
- Occasional cockroach
- No central air, dishwasher or washer/dryer units
- No windows in middle room

The apartment was in good condition, the building was clean, and there were no pests.
Cons:
The doors and keys were complicated and seemed like they were not as strong as they could be.
