Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent tenant reviews highlight buildings managed by EAST SEVENTY SEVENTH CO vary in quality. Although some tenants appreciate the cleanliness and responsive staff, others have concerns about maintenance issues, constructionnoise, and rent increases. Positive aspects include friendly workers, minimal pest problems, and a sense of community among long-term residents. However, inconsistent management responsiveness and outdated facilities like elevators and laundry rooms may require attention. Overall, prospective tenants should assess individual building conditions and management style before making a decision to rent in these buildings.

Clean building, nice apartments
Former Tenant
Pros:
Clean, was great wheni first moved in
Cons:
construction adjacent ruined my apartment - i lost all my natural light. While technically this isn't the building's fault they never responded to my requests for relocation due to mental health issues related to loss of natural light. Also they raised the price of laundry from 2.75 to 4 and it costs 8 dollars for a load of laundry.
They keep raising the rent even as I lost my natural light and now have to live with a mesh covering over my only window due to construction.
Advice to owner:

Happy to live here
Former Tenant
Pros:
The building’s workers and doormen are very friendly. I’ve had 0 pest issues and the building is well kept for it’s age. Also have not had any breakdowns/issues in my apartment that required fixing and can never hear my neighbors. The residents in this building stay awhile and I can see why!
Cons:
One of the elevators is sometimes out of service and the laundry room is a bit outdated.
