Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Recent tenant feedback for Armstrong Realty Management, Corp. reveals chronic issues across their buildings, with frequent complaints about poor maintenance, unresponsiveness, and unsanitary conditions. Tenants consistently report delays or no action on repairs, malfunctioning heating, pest infestations, and garbage management problems. Communication with management is often described as dismissive or entirely absent, leading to frustration and distrust. Some renters note decent locations and affordable rents, but these advantages do not outweigh the persistent management shortcomings. Stay Away - it is a nightmare living here

Pros

Location is ideal. Very convenient and close to Museum Mile. Easy access to Central Park and subways.

Cons

The building is horrible. Not properly maintained, lack of sunlight, dirty and management very unresponsive. Building manager, Mark Massey is very uncouth and uncivilized.

Advice to the owners

Keep the building clean. Mark, Instead of trying to do everything yourself, hire people with the proper expertise to get things done. Fix the intercom system so that tenants do not have to come down how many flights of stairs to let a visitor in. Be responsive to tenants when they reach out to you. And do not sit on tenants security deposit for 6 months before you return it
