Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent tenant feedback for 1287 STERLING LLC reflects a mixed experience. Positively, many appreciate the quiet neighborhood, strong Wi-Fi, and functional apartments with responsive and transparent management. Common areas likebackyard and rooftop spaces are valued, and residents often find the buildings clean and well-heated. However, some renters report concerns about co-living arrangements, including lack of privacy, noisy roommates, and difficult lease termination. It’s been a truly enjoyable experience.
Former Tenant
Pros:
My stay here has been great. The neighborhood is quiet, and having the subway nearby is perfect for commuting. There’s a backyard, a rooftop, and plenty of common spaces to hang out. The Wi-Fi is strong, and the neighbors are really nice.
Cons:
I just wish the kitchen was slightly larger.

Honest housing that lets you focus on what matters.
Former Tenant
Pros:
Appreciated the transparency and speed of the Outpost team. The apartment wasn’t fancy, but it was functional and quiet.
Cons:
Small common areas and Wi-Fi can slow down during peak hours.

Lived here through Common Co-living
Former Tenant
Pros:
It is easy to get approved for a lease
Cons:
Near impossible to get out is a lease without paying the entirety, roommates were in and out of the building (opened door to my room on my first night as there’s no personal locks,) bathrooms were always broken, roommates were loud, management after eventually managing to issue my refund for my deposit sent it to that address and told me to connect with the roommates to have it forwarded it. I did not have an acquaintanceship, much less the sort of relationship where I could relay they how to send me a check.
Advice to owner:
Co living is terrible. Two split units with a small manager would be better than a bunch of adult randoms
