Good unless you’re the bottom floor
Pros
Huge, spacious apartment with loft and laundry in building. Pet friendly.
Cons
Unit 1 faces the street and shares a wall with a loud dive bar. We would hear people singing karaoke through the wall. We couldn’t open our big windows because everyone is constantly smoking outside. Even if it wasn’t open, we could still smell smoke. The windows also provide no noise cancellation. We couldn’t watch TV without hearing the riffraff of the street, street performers, or the loud bar—especially on weekends or Thursdays. We also did occasionally see a roach, but they do have an exterminator. We also dealt with flies.
Advice to the owners
Noise canceling windows with better seals. I don’t know what you can do about the bar.
