Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Recent reviews for 83 Baxter Street, Manhattan, highlight its excellent location with easy access to multiple subway lines and vibrant neighborhood amenities. Tenants appreciate unit layouts, in-unit laundry, strong water pressure, and convenient garbage disposal, with neighbors generally friendly and noise levels manageable. Heating is mostly effective but inconsistently controlled, sometimes causing discomfort. Pest issues, especially rodents on lower floors, are a recurrent concern. Owner responsiveness receives mixed feedback, with some tenants citing timely maintenance while others experience communication challenges. While the building offers good value and a lively community, improvements in pest control, heating regulation, and manager-tenant communication are recommended for a better living experience.
