    Convenient location, mild pest problem

    Great location, quiet, and the super is very kind and responsive.
    Cons:
    There was a mouse issue for a bit and the landlord would not pay for an inspection.

    Pros:
    Updated appliances. Close to Trader Joe’s, lower east side, subway, parks, Chinatown.
    Cons:
    Heat sometimes doesn’t work. Hallways haven’t been cleaned in what seems like 5 years. Only one door access to building which is glass
    Advice to owner:
    Clean the building. Fix the heat.

    Pros:
    Very kind landlord and super Security deposit returned promptly New appliances Heat worked well (almost too hot at times)
    Cons:
    Stairwell was dirty and not well maintained Garbage room was a bit sketchy and scary Difficult to communicate with landlord and super (language barrier) Apartment was very very small We had a mouse and a few roaches No elevator Couldn’t control heat
    Advice to owner:
    Have a way to better communicate with English speaking tenants and dust/clean stairwell.
