Location Good - Price Bad
Former Tenant
Pros:
Liked the location
Cons:
Ceiling leaked and was never properly fixed. Building had a bed bug issue (2021-2022) when we lived there.

Do u like to put in requests everyday? This is the spot for you.
Former Tenant
Pros:
- neighbors are quiet - across from a quiet park (noise level extremely low) - get great sun for plants - can’t beat living in the city
Cons:
- unresponsive management - moved into a unit and gas didn’t get turned on for over 2 months due to owner negligence and did not receive hot plates until we complained multiple times. - had a bed bug problem upon moving in(the floor above us had a problem before us) and management didn’t book an appointment for fumigation for over 2 weeks. - have lived here for a few months and every day something breaks (stove handle broken off, dishwasher fell out of the wall)
Advice to owner:
If you claim your apartments are remodeled with new appliances … atleast have working appliances. Actually visit an apartment before a tenant moves in and ensure everything is working and respond to urgent issues.

Affordable living for good location
Former Tenant
Pros:
Within walking distance to Soho, LES, Little Italy. New appliances.
Cons:
LOTS of rats in the dumpster in front of the building next to the front door and trash was always piled up and around the area. Dealt with bedbugs a month before COVID. The owner did send an exterminator, but did not notify anyone else in the building or proactively check surrounding apartments for bed bugs to my knowledge. Someone downstairs smoked in the building with door open and it would waft into our apartment even with the door closed. Lots of late night activity in the park across the street so it could be pretty noisy.

Serious mice problem
Former Tenant
Pros:
Super quiet, no street noise due to the park next door. Neighbors are great mostly quiet and won’t bother you. New appliances and renovated apartment.
Cons:
We had mice and German cockroaches coming out of all holes in the apartment, so did everyone on the floor. It took 5 months for us to get the hole behind the dishwasher sealed. Management doesn’t respond to anything at all and the super must live far away because he takes hours to show up.
Advice to owner:
Get a live in super and actually seal the holes in the apartment when you say you will.
