No and the landlord is a crook with dementia who will claim she doesn’t get your checks and threaten to take you to court and ruin your ability to rent in the future. If you tell her you’re moving out she will find your checks the next day.

There is an online TenantCloud portal for rent payment as of Sept. 23, 2024, when the landlord hired G. Resnick Realty LLC to start managing the property.

Future of rent payment via online portal for this property is TBD... will update here with new information once we learn what new building management (or lack thereof) the owner is bringing on as of Sept 2026.

Building now has a new property manager, AKME Property Management, who have an online portal for payment by bank transfer with a $1.35 EFT fee but no longer option for CC payment (so no BILT rent rewards for BILT cardholders since BILT doesn't support ACH transfers).

Location and neighbors
I had a consistently bad experience here due to poor upkeep and management. The building felt run-down (don't be fooled by the hallways) and maintenance was difficult to get handled. The super is only available Mon–Thu, and EVERY issue has to go through the owner (an elderly 87 yr old landlord) she has dementia, often gets grumpy, confrontational, and hard to work with. The property manager mainly collects rent and doesn't have authority to resolve anything. There’s also a major PIGEON issue. They nest in/around the building in the alleys and you'll hear them flying and cooing 24x7. If you request repairs, be prepared for an unpleasant process. Overall, it wasn’t a comfortable place to live, and resident turnover is high, many residents don’t stay longer than a year. I had to threaten a legal action to get my security deposit back.

I was scammed on an apartment in this building and later found several other people who were scammed by the same person Aidamarie Luberez. Please if you see a listing from her report it. She is extremely convincing but she is a scammer!!
