Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent reviews for 46 Allen Street, Manhattan, reveal significant tenant dissatisfaction despite the building's prime location near multiple subway lines. Residents consistently report poor maintenance, including pest infestations, unreliable heating, lack of hot water, and frequent stove outages lasting months. Garbage management and cleanliness are widely criticized, with mention of rodents near dumpsters. The landlord's responsiveness is repeatedly described as unprofessional, rude, and largely absent, exacerbating tenant frustration through ignored communications and withheld security deposits. While the building offers spacious units and quiet neighbors, renters overwhelmingly advise management overhaul and professional handling to improve the living conditions and tenant relations.

The location is the best part of the building. Not too many nice things to say honestly.
Cons:
Roaches & other bugs, heating issues, the landlord, if it can go wrong it probably will.
Advice to owner:
Take better care of your building. Tenants will get out of it what you put into it.
