Review Summary for 104 Suffolk Street
Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent tenant reviews for 104 SUFFOLK STREET highlight mixed feedback. While some appreciate the apartment size and convenient amenities like digital concierge systems, others express concerns about safety issues, lack of responsiveness from management, and cleanliness problems. Neighbors and noise levels vary, with some experiencing disturbances. Recommendations include improved maintenance, quicker responses to tenant requests, and better communication with owners. Despite its quirks, the building's central location and decent apartment sizes are noted positives, but attention to management effectiveness and tenant concerns is vital for an enhanced living experience.

DONT MOVE HERE
Former Tenant
Pros:
I love the size and layout of my apartment.
Cons:
People have been breaking in and stealing packages. 2 apartments have been broken into since I moved here. There are people doing heroin in the laundry room and screaming at all hours of the night. The common areas are always dirty and the trash is all over the sidewalk. The building gets fined at least once a month and they don’t care and never fix anything that breaks. A resident unalived himself out of the apartment window and the building said nothing. They don’t respond to service requests and don’t allow us to have the super’s contact. It smells like weed and cigarettes all the time and other peoples ash comes flying in my windows covering my apartment because it’s so hot in the winter I need to leave the windows open. And I just got a letter from conEd that the building is behind on their bills so service is getting shut off to the common areas.
Advice to owner:
This apartment has so much potential but management just doesn’t care at all.

It has its quirks
Former Tenant
Pros:
-laundry in building
-Carson virtual doorman system and management communication app
-online rent payments
Cons:
-entryway is filthy from food on the floor and wall
-laundry only runs on quarters
-takes a month to hear back from management for all requests including extermination
-old building with loose floor boards
-built in intercom system doesn’t work
-consistently stolen packages
-door in basement was kicked in and never repaired even after a burglary along with door to alley missing a doorknob so anyone can enter
Advice to owner:
-mop the entryway hallway
-fix things in common areas when they break
-send exterminators monthly as promised
-address maintenance requests in less than a month
