Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent reviews of 123 Rivington Street highlight clean, well-maintained apartments with quality renovations and attentive, responsive management. Tenants appreciate features like strong water pressure, renovated interiors, and convenient location near the subway. However, noise from a popular bar downstairs is a common complaint, disturbing residents late into the night. Some renters report occasional pest issues and desire additional amenities such as in-unit laundry or roof access. The building maintains charm and cleanliness but faces challenges with noise control and pest management, impacting overall living comfort. Responsive management and a solid building structure remain positive aspects for prospective renters.

Nice Apartment but Noisy Area
Former Tenant
Pros:
The building was renovated long enough ago that it's not hideous falling-apart plywood like newer places, and they kept the original charm of the hallways. Online portal for rent and complaints and is quick to respond and fix things. Apartments very reasonably sized.
Cons:
Paper thin walls, and very noisy area in general on the facing Delancey side. Building seems to be increasingly full of rich college kids and fewer families. Occasional package theft problems with people posing as delivery men, someone new lets them in, they just take stuff.
Advice to owner:
Property itself pretty ok, greedy rent spike just shitty
