Location relative to east village.
Cons:
The smell of the hallway, there is an awful smell every summer by the mailboxes that is probably a dead rat in the walls as you can hear them scurrying. Also this past year started finding roaches in the apt. No roof access, nowhere to get outside directly near apt and you can hear the music from hair of the dog and Arlene’s even in the back apt. Lots of construction in back buildings in summertime, no sun light in main room only bedroom. My packages have been getting stolen now for 3 years - the cameras are not on or real and everyone buzzed in strangers. Not safest building

Very quiet given location, high ceilings, workable layout for such a small unit
Cons:
3rd floor unit was very dark. Front door lock regularly had problems and you couldn't get out of the building! Packages were regularly stolen.
Advice to owner:
Fix the front door!!!

Great location, I found the management to be responsive and quick to fix issues.
Cons:
SO loud. I lived in the back, the building shook from the noise from Arlene’s grocery.
Advice to owner:
Do more to limit Airbnb’s.

Great location, very old bldg

Love the location. Bathroom is renovated and nice
Cons:
Packages get stolen all the time, EXTREMELY OLD appliances and pipes, had so much trouble with things breaking and leaking. Super old, they need to renovate everything again. The super and bldg mgmt are unresponsive, unhelpful and unreliable.
Advice to owner:
Be more responsive and helpful when it comes to building repair. Stop charging so much over a small space.
