Pretty sweet spot, nice neighborhood
Former Tenant
Pros:
Super is friendly, comes on time. Had no pest issues. Was pretty warm during winters. Good amount of space in the bedrooms - one is smaller but can still fit bed, closet, and desk.
Cons:
No elevator and has half floors. Roomate and I lived on the 4th floor, but technically was 5th. Couldn't regulate one of the heaters in the kitchen because it was facing the wall in the kitchen. No closets in the bedrooms, but there is one shared one in the living space.
Advice to owner:
Would be great to find a way to make sure all heaters can be regulated. Make sure all holes are filled and covered around the pipes.

Great building, LOUD restaurant below
Former Tenant
Pros:
Superintendent is so kind, responsive, and helpful. Management is quick to reply to emails. Building is clean. Super close the subway (F).
Cons:
AVOID living here IF your apartment is on the 1st floor OR if your window faces the alley facing the neighboring building. The restaurant below, Meat & Bread, blasts their music & bass at full volume from 10am-10pm 7 days a week. Had multiple conversations with building management and there is nothing they can legally do. I have also made multiple calls to 311. The owner is rude and gaslights you and refuses to turn anything down as it is “their right” to blast full bass at all hours as if they’re a night club. We’ve loved our 2.5 years living here, but we’re moving at the end of our lease. The restaurant has been here for 8 months and we haven’t had a day without loud music or heavy bass since then.
Advice to owner:
Don’t allow restaurants to mount bass heavy speakers on their ceilings or play music past closing time. This wasn’t an issue with the restaurant that was there before them.
