Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent reviews for 107 St Marks Place highlight its excellent East Village location and welcoming community, with many residents praising a responsive and helpful super. The building maintains generally clean common areas and offers desirable features like an elevator and laundry facilities. However, several tenants report persistent issues including recurring pest problems (cockroaches and mice), inconsistent maintenance of laundry machines, occasional elevator malfunctions, and noise from the lively street. Water pressure varies, and some units experience thin walls causing noise disturbances. While management is sometimes praised for responsiveness, others note difficulty in communication. Rent-stabilization status is unclear. Overall, the building suits those valuing location and community but may challenge those sensitive to pests and noise.
