AVOID! BAD TENANTS
Former Tenant
Pros:
- apartments have good sq footage for an old pre-war building. Most have separate kitchen/bathroom/living room/ bedrooms so thats nice - convenient location in east village - roof access
Cons:
Crazy old lady SCREAMS randomly, cops always being called to bldng. DON’T LIVE HERE!
Advice to owner:
find a legal loophole and kick out the crazy old lady

not worth the location
Former Tenant
Pros:
Well the only pro is the location, but you will find so many other buildings that don’t suck in this location.
Cons:
1. The building is dirty, the garbage men rarely come and when they do they don’t wear masks and smoke cigarettes in the hallway 2. The heat in our apartment was broken for months and after consistent emails and calls to the landlord nothing was done about this. Now that it’s “fixed” it is barely comfortable to sit without multiple layers on. FYI - there is only one radiator in our entire apartment, and the rest of the rooms have these “heat poles” that don’t work. 3. Packages get stolen 4. The roof is a joke, there’s nothing up there don’t the fooled by the pics. 5. The apartment could use an update on building security, considering it’s on a major street 6. There’s no super so if you have an issue you have to track down the landlord which can take days at best 7. Rent must be paid by check, which is ridiculous in 2021 8. There was no covid rent negotiations available
Advice to owner:
Treat your tenants better, and actually acknowledge and address their concerns. If you want people to actually want to live here, you should put in effort to respond to your rent paying tenants.

0/10 would not recommend
Former Tenant
Pros:
The location is the ONLY nice thing i can say about this apartment and landlord.
Cons:
1. The landlord does not respond to emails. Like at all. Or to any way you try to communicate with him really. 2. My heat was broken for weeks and he never came to check it just told us it was fine 3. The heat when it does work still isn’t that warm 4. Also when the heat is on the pipes are so loud it disrupts sleep 5. The man who does the trash just won’t come for days and so the lobby looks gross 6. We’ve ask them to fix issues that would provide us with safety and they don’t even acknowledge them
Advice to owner:
If you want people to continue living here you should put in actual effort to respond to your tenants
