just don't expect much

Pros

location was great (plus the view from street facing windows and the roof)

Cons

Always dirty, rodents in lower apartments, mail CONSTANTLY gets stolen, landlord wouldn't fix things that were broken even when we first moved in without some complaints. Management & maintenance had some good people but in general the building should have been kept up WAY better considering the price of units.

Advice to the owners

get better locks for the two main front doors, so that its not super easy to break into the building with a credit card and steal packages

Nice location, old building

Pros

The location is fantastic on 2nd Avenue and 12th St. There is basically no noise as it's an air-shaft apartment.

Cons

Air shaft means no natural light whatsoever. Garbage is thrown into a bin at the bottom of the airshaft which is kinda gross. It is taken out weekly but still weird.

It seems like the packages make it into the lobby but many of them get rifled through if they are left too long. It has gotten better over the last few months but it’s a huge pain.

not at all. I’ve had 70% of my packages stolen. it’s a terrible issue and management does nothing about it
