Kinda small places but overall great super/building management
Former Tenant
Pros:
Quick responses for repairs or pests

Units are small, they won’t use great fixtures on updates. Appliances are old.
Advice to owner:
Update some appliances and electrical

Old building but responsive super and great location
Former Tenant
Pros:
Any time we had an issue (electricity going out because our AC was too powerful) the super would drive over nomatter what time it was. I also needed help with removing a radiator because it was getting way too hot, and they were very accommodating. My little apartment had an updated kitchen. The common hallways were always clean and the trash was controlled.
Cons:
Because it was an old building, some things were unavoidable like really narrow hallways and doorframes which made it difficult to find furniture that could be delivered. Occassionally there would be a waterbug (large cockroach) in the hall on the first floor but it was always dead, they definitely were vigilent. I lived on the top floor and only saw 2 the whole 2 years I lived there. Only other con was no elevator.
Advice to owner:
None, I loved this apartment!

Cramped but not bad
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great location for NYU
Cons:
Steam pipes make a lot of noise
good experience overall
Former Tenant
Pros:
great location and property management would respond in emergencies
Cons:
very old building and apartment needed renovations, I asked for some I thought the apartment really needed (bathroom tiles were coming off, for example) but answer always NO
Advice to owner:
if tenants are willing to undergo construction for a renovation, it really means it is needed, and would have made a big difference
