Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent reviews for 203 Spring Street highlight its prime Soho location, rooftop access, and in-unit laundry as attractive features. Tenants appreciate a generally clean and well-managed building with respectful neighbors and a safe environment, often favored by students and young professionals. However, several renters report issues with small unit sizes, lack of natural light, inadequate heating, and occasional pest problems. Noise disturbances linked to nearby bars and early morning food bank operations also impact comfort. Management responsiveness receives mixed feedback, from fairly responsive to unhelpful, especially regarding maintenance and pest control. Despite drawbacks, many find it suitable for short-term living in a vibrant neighborhood.

No Sunlight and Tiny
Former Tenant
Pros:
The location is great, the super is nice, the rooftop is nice, and there’s in-unit laundry. The owners aren’t super fast but are fairly responsive.
Cons:
I live in a unit on the backside of the apt and there’s no natural light whatsoever so I need to have a light on even in the middle of the day. We also needed to contact the property owner to install another radiator in the living room in the winter bc the apt was so cold. One of the rooms doesn’t even have a radiator and even though mine did I was still freezing at night and had to buy a heater. The apt is also tiny and we had to choose between a couch or dining room table.
