Well maintained and NYC’s best super

Pros:
Very clean for a Chelsea building. You will not find a better super in NYC.
Cons:
Paper-thin floors/ceilings. You can hear everything your upstairs, downstairs neighbors are doing.

Pros:
Clean apartments. Only had like 5 bugs creep in over 2 years. Excellent supervisors!
Cons:
Laundry isn’t the best, the machines constantly break or don’t completely dry clothes. Landlord is not very responsive.
Advice to owner:
Be more responsive to your tenants!

Well-maintained, amazing super

Pros:
The super in this building is so amazing. He is attentive, responsive and kind. Well-maintained building with very few issues (if any, they are quickly resolved). Great water pressure. Laundry in building in the basement, AC in unit, virtual doorman.
Cons:
Had a couple pest (cockroach) issues over the summer but the Super quickly managed and had an exterminator over ASAP. No issues since. No control over the heat but building usually has it at a reasonable temperature.
Advice to owner:
Do whatever necessary to keep this super in the building!

Thin floorboards
Occasionally there are issues with the water pipe

Don’t raise rents so quickly after COVID
