Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Recent tenant reviews highlight significant issues with the building, including a prevalent mice infestation, slow responsiveness to repairs, outdated appliances, and a lack of storage space. The positive aspects include the fantastic neighborhood, spacious bedrooms, and the attentive super. However, dissatisfaction with property management, delayed repairs, and rent increases during the pandemic have led to tenant turnover. Recommendations stress the need for prompt resolutions, improved maintenance, and more consideration for tenant concerns to enhance the overall living experience in the building.

Fine if you like living with rodents

Pros

Amazing neighborhood, super quiet street, never had any issues with neighbors.

Cons

Very very old building, every appliance broke down at some point while living here. Our bathroom is covered in mold on the ceiling and the building refuses to fix it. Main issue that we have dealt with is a building wide mice infestation. Beware. You will have rodent roommates if you live here.

RUN from this building

Pros

The super is really nice and tries to help.

Cons

Major major major mice infestation. Management couldn’t care less. Do not waste your money here. We got a building 10x more beautiful, clean than this one right down the street for only $500 more than this. Stephanie the property manager is rude, condescending and extremely inexperienced in what she does.

Advice to the owners

Take note of what other management companies do aka respond to their tenants and actually care about issues they’re having.
