Negligent Management, Homeless use the vestibule for sleeping and bathroom
Former Tenant
Pros:
Close to subway
Cons:
The Super puts in the least amount of effort when the porter is not on duty. The porter works most days and works very hard. Therefore the building is not well tended to and the laundry room is always wet and dirty machines. Garbage piles up. Serious mail theft. Very HIGH Rent!!!
Advice to owner:
Answer the damn phone!

Good apartment, minor issues
Former Tenant
Pros:
Well kept building, central location, laundry, large apartments
Cons:
Had bugs (but management was responsive), crazy neighbor who yelled and banged on the ceiling, raising rents every year significantly
Advice to owner:
none

Not what it used to be
Former Tenant
Pros:
Pre war building quiet block
Cons:
Owner who is destroying the charm of building ugly hideous renovations. Will rent to anyone too many people not enough laundry. Mostly absent super. Management company especially management agent suck. The laundry room is a joke with full occupancy there need to be more machines. Half the time they a broken and full of mold!
Advice to owner:
Quit doing illegal conversions. Stop doing renovations with illegal workers now of these days DOH will be able to get in and prove our complaints. Try to be more like your father was in treatment of your tenants. He was a gentleman and would not be proud of what has happened to this building. With every passing year the building goes down more.

Advice to owner:
Stop bastardizing the prewar apartments and leave the “renovations” alone!
