Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent reviews of 155 East 38 Street, Manhattan, emphasize a well-managed building with exceptionally helpful and friendly staff, including attentive doormen and responsive management. Tenants appreciate the building’s cleanliness, strong water pressure, and generally quiet, friendly neighbors. However, noise from nearby traffic and occasional pest issues, particularly roaches and mice, have been noted despite ongoing pest control efforts. The lack of outdoor spaces and fitness amenities is a downside for some residents. Suggestions include improving soundproofing by installing double-paned windows. Overall, the building is regarded as a solid choice offering spacious units and good value in a convenient location.
