Huge Mouse Problem
Former Tenant
Pros:
Nice building with a clean lobby.
Cons:
Huge mouse problem! I have lived here less than two years and caught over 10 mice myself. I see them running around my apartment everyday. Pest control comes once every few months and puts down sticky traps but it does nothing.

Landlord / Owner communication poor
Former Tenant
Pros:
Has all the amenities and the unit I’m in is clean.
Cons:
Mice infestation. Landlord/Owner is slow to respond and takes advantage of renters.

Great building with mild pest issues
Former Tenant
Pros:
Laundry in unit, location, luminosity
Cons:
Footsteps noise, rarely mouse issue fixed by cloging a hole
Advice to owner:
More for pest control and sound insulation

Great building overall
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great building with perks including elevator, laundry on site, beautiful lobby. The super and his wife are kind and very responsive to concerns. The entrance is protected by 2 locked doors, and the intercom system to enter connects to your phone.
Cons:
Bugs exist here (as in any NYC building) — but are not extremely well managed. It is chilly in the winter, with the heat running low.
Advice to owner:
Take more care of pests

Easy building if you’re low maintenance
Former Tenant
Pros:
Elevator, new mail locker storage in basement
Cons:
There are occasional rats. Super live in building is slow to respond or hard to get in contact with via phone and email.
Advice to owner:
Thanks for the improvement with the basement package storage. Helpful during those stealing phases in the building.

229 e 29
Former Tenant
Pros:
The supers are extremely friendly, but busy people with this and other buildings to work. The location is great and nice to have an elevator
Cons:
There is a lot of noise that comes from the building behind. It is a loud band that practices almost every night for hours, and no, they’re not good.
Advice to owner:
Building is great the light fixtures could use an inside dusting in the halls.

Former Tenant
Pros:
Great building in Murray Hill
Cons:
Sometimes problem with pests in basement or noise from neighbors moving in and out.
Advice to owner:

Avoid at all costs, not worth it
Former Tenant
Pros:
Nice lobby, secure package room, laundry in building
Cons:
Super is unresponsive, Does not respond to any texts or calls. You are way better off going to a different building, no reason anybody needs to deal with this. Looks like there is an unmanaged mice problem. Really wish I knew all this before hand. Nice building but not nice enough to deal with how annoying it is to live here.
Advice to owner:
Get a new super.
