Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Tenant reviews for 201 East 30 Street highlight a prime location near restaurants and bars with generally nice neighbors and decent lighting in some units. However, persistent pest issues, including mice and cockroaches, and frequent package theft significantly affect living conditions. Many residents report poor building cleanliness, outdated appliances, noise especially on lower floors facing 3rd Avenue, and unreliable management with slow or rude responses. Maintenance concerns include broken elevators, weak water pressure, and the need to upgrade windows, laundry systems, and security measures. While some appreciate the affordable rent and friendly super, overall satisfaction is diminished by management and pest control shortcomings.

It was FINE
Former Tenant
Pros:
The building ambiance was great, and the super's parents who took care of the building were great. If you were facing 3rd ave, the light was amazing in the afternoon.
Cons:
The appliances were dated for the price, and it was hard to get a hold of the super most of the time. If your room was on 3rd ave and you were on a lower level it was LOUD. Packages were stolen often. The pros and cons of the building were truly equal.
