Review Summary for 364 West 51 Street
Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent tenant reviews for 364 West 51 Street highlight good management, cleanliness, and convenient location as positives. Mice sightings and noisy surroundings are concerns, along with inconsistent water pressure and high rent increases. Approvals are mixed due to issues with building management, but the superintendent receives praise. While the apartments offer some amenities like in-unit washer/dryer and proximity to subways, the overall consensus leans towards caution due to high rent hikes and safety-related issues. It's suggested that improvements in management responsiveness and safety measures are needed to enhance the living experience in this building.

Just another walk-up
Former Tenant
Pros:
Lived here a while back, it appears to have been renovated since then with new appliances and higher prices.
Great proximity to the theater district, decent transit access.
Walkable to Central Park. Great for having friends visit.
Cons:
Noise from the street was easily audible through windows.
We had mice, although they did send an exterminator to take care of it.
Super was very volatile.
Rooms were tiny. I can't believe these apartments are renting for over $4000 now...

Do not live here
Former Tenant
Pros:
Washer/dryer in unit, 2 bathrooms, amazing superintendent!!!
Cons:
The building management is absolute trash. They raised our rent by 50% and wouldn’t budge
Advice to owner:
It would be hard to pinpoint one specific issue when there are so many. The worst thing they did was raise our rent 50%, but they also refused to help us with a massive package theft issue, knew someone was listing their apartment as an Airbnb and didn’t do anything thereby letting strangers into the building. A homeless man literally lived in the vacant apartment on the first floor for a week because management wouldn’t help the super get them out. This place is unsafe and not even remotely worth the price I promise you. Senad the super is the man though he’s the only thing that will make you feel safe in that apartment.
