Beware of unresponsive super
Former Tenant
Pros:
There is in-unit laundry. We arrived into the unit with a new coat of paint.
Cons:
Super is very unresponsive and disrespectful of your time — will schedule something early in the morning only to not show up. Trash can pile up in the small holding area, and cleaning of common areas is infrequent. We got our security deposit back, but had to do multiple calls with the management company until we got to talk to the person responsible (owner of the company).

Old building, so there has been leaks when raining and sometimes pests/rodents. Landlord has contracted pest control company, which is effective, but we’ve found it easier to set up our own rat traps. Rooms are very small.

You get what you pay for

Cons:

Ok first apartment as a newbie in the city.
Former Tenant
Pros:
Location! Hell's kitchen can be busy and overwhelming but thankfully it is close to almost all train lines and moving around is very easy. Central park is also a 20min walk from home and that made things a lot better. The apartment is spacious and the bathrooms are in great condtion.
Cons:
The fridge is fairly small and on hotter days it does not keep things cold. The super is hard to reach and sometimes takes weeks to come fix a lightbulb. The building is owned by a large management company and they care very little about the issues that arise during your lease.

Great place; not so great management
Former Tenant
Pros:
Apartments have new appliances and have nice finishes.
Cons:
Usually took a few tries before getting any issue responded to.
Advice to owner:
Better responsiveness.
