    For NYC, a good experience

    Pros:
    Great area and they keep the common areas clean. Landlord is responsive.
    Cons:
    Trash bins do not do anything for the rats. Roaches in the summer are really bad since there isn’t much lighting outside. It’s an old building in nyc, you’ll see bugs.

    Pros:
    Responsive landlord, and well maintained building. Units aren’t the most updated but they are clean. Occasional pest issues but never major, they were always taken care of and responded to promptly.
    Cons:
    I hate paying my rent via check. I understand the reasoning, sort of, but it’s inconvienient for sure. Also, you can hear a lot in the building, and will definitely hear your neighbors. They also don’t even email. All communication is done by flyer in the building.
    Advice to owner:
    Update more units, have regular pest control in the lobby.
