Difficult landlord, not worth the hassle

Location, close to central park
Cons:
Old, lots of construction, unresponsive landlord that will take any last dime out of you

Disclose massive construction projects to your tenants

Pros:
The building had great residents who were all brought together by their shared upsetting situations with the landlord. The location is also great.
Cons:
The building was old and uncared for and dirty with an unresponsive landlord. Upon an issue with a pipe bursting multiple residents were left without showers and the blame was put on residents. Personal attacks and harassment ended in multiple residents and good people moving out early.
Advice to owner:
Sell the building.
