An apt my coworkers are jealous of (mostly bc of the deals)

Rent stabilized, only additional fee is for my window AC unit which is like maybe $30(?), Handyman are usually at my apt quick / fix the issue
Cons:
My upstairs neighbor (I’m assuming) is the loudest walker and always at 1-2 am like (a) how can you walk that much in your apartment and (b) why are your footsteps so loud

Cons:
Neighbors can be loud & some try to smoke. Rent stabilized building so you get a mix of people

My best apartment yet

Pros:
Management is so responsive. My fridge broke down and I had a new one installed the next day. Love that electricity and water are included in rent.

My only real complaint was distance to the subway lines but that wasn’t about the building specifically

- Laundry room up the block that is only for renters of the building
- Utilities included in rent price for studio apartment (at my time of renting January 2021)
- Public transportation near by (trains and buses)

If I move back to NYC, I would live there again.

Pros:
Thick walls and thick ceilings, you can’t hear your neighbors from above or from next door. Building management is AWESOME! They fix any problem right away! They’re kind and attentive.
there’s a package room in the office. Laundry room is always clean and in perfect conditions, building and sidewalks are always clean.
Cons:
No dishwasher

But after one week you get use to it

Pros:
Maintenance on staff. Always there if you needed. Pretty quiet. Had spares keys if you got locked out. Never needed a locksmith.
Cons:
Heat was pretty hot and needed to open windows. But that’s pretty common in New York.
