Huge Pest Problem & Unhelpful Management

The area is nice and quiet.
Cons:
There are multiple BIG roaches in the hallways and staircases of the building. After that they came into my apartment. I was getting monthly treatments for about 5 months, and they still were all in the apartment and the staircases. The building has a serious problem and are in denial about how big the issue is and how out of hand it is for management to control. They made me think It was not an issue to see the amount I did in my apartment. I shouldn't be seeing any in a place that I call home and sleep at night. The management office was always rude when calling for complaints and was of no help when I had to abruptly end the lease because the issue became so bad. There are also rats in the building. Please don't consider living here unless you want to deal with these issues as well as building management that will degrade you for wanting a clean place to live.
Advice to owner:
Adress the issue of pests you have in your building and do not make tenants feel bad about choosing to not habitate in the conditions

Super responsive management, tackled all maintenance requests within a couple of hours.

Staff on the premise 24/7 is helpful if you lock yourself out!

I literally never heard any of my neighbors

Apartments are clean, appliances are newer and work well

Great water pressure/ample hot water

All utilities except wifi are included
Cons:
GARBAGE COURTYARD they store the garbage in the courtyard between 510 and 508 and literal mountains of garbage piles on top of the first floor windows. It has to be a health and fire code violation, but they continue to do it.

I found a five cockroaches in the apartment over the course of 1.5 years. 4/5 were dead when I found them. Pest control comes to the property once a week on wednesdays

Stop storing mountains of garbage in the courtyard. It’s gross and a fire code violation.

Big rooms, rent stabilized.
Cons:
Had recurring mouse problems and each time wasn’t fixed. And when I mentioned there was a cockroach they told me it wasn’t their problem to fix. Additionally not very responsive.
