My first apartment in NYC
Former Tenant
Pros:
-location (e.g., Subway, Stores, Restaurants) -Unit was re-modeled -Doormen were good -Units with washer and dryer
Cons:
-Pest Control: It either didn’t exist or was terrible. Constantly finding roaches - either dead in the heater, in my shower drain, or I’d literally see them crawl under my hallway door (had 5 live ones crawl under in one night once) - it was horrible. - Cleanliness: Apartment hallways were extremely dirty with old/stained carpet.
Advice to owner:
Either start doing or significantly improve pest control. Place is roach central. Hallways need remodeling - carpet is disgusting and dirty.
