2 years - not disapointed
Former Tenant
Pros:
super was great and responsive, the doorman was the best part of this building. easy access to restaurants, bars, bodegas, grocery stores and parks. pet friendly too
Cons:
bedroom window on G apartments are in a shaftway that was covered, insufferable in the summer. So hot the AC would blow hot air and I had to sleep in the living room on hot night to sleep "comfortably"
Advice to owner:
^ take the covers off the airshafts!!

Convenient and comfortable location, but noisy
Former Tenant
Pros:
Friendly and helpful staff in the front entrance. Clean and pest-free apartments. Great location near subways, ferry, parks, and restaurants. Hardwood floors. Gas stove and oven. A Housing Works is on the same block. A Target is 10-15 minutes away. Dishwasher in-unit with laundromats nearby.
Cons:
Noise from being on a corner, and from neighbors above and below (creaking footsteps, dogs barking, car and truck horns, etc). You may need to sleep with earplugs. Grocery stores could be more affordable; two Trader Joe's are 45 minutes away, although there is a bus to/from the west side one.
Advice to owner:
If possible: Upgrade the windows to better seal against noise and dirt; Replace the creaking floorboards.

Excellent building two cons
Former Tenant
Pros:
I HAVE SEEN NO BUGS OR RODENTS IN THE PAST THREE YEARS in the two units I have occupied! I haven’t seen any bugs in the building either! Amazing!

Supers and doorman are helpful/friendly and always find time to help you if needed.

Compared to other buildings kept much cleaner in hallways, stairwells, and lobby.

I really love living here.
Cons:
The people above me wake up at 4am and stomp, throw there heavy ball for there dog across the room, move furniture, basically everything that makes a significant amount of noise. When I get home from work the noise continues.

And the horrible smoker...
Advice to owner:
100% to make it a rule to have some carpets if you have dogs and plan on throwing balls.

No smoking in the building or outside in front of the building It doesn’t look or smell nice.

Decent apartment. Management is terrible
Former Tenant
Pros:
Part-time Doorman building with elevator. Great location. Spacious apartment but make sure you pick a higher floor since it’s above a deli. I had a furry roommate for a few days.
Cons:
Management very unresponsive. I’ve called and sent multiple emails, no response. Took them over a month to return my security deposit (which is illegal). The aforementioned furry friend was a big con.
Advice to owner:
Respond to your tenants.

Ok building, Crappy Mngmt
Former Tenant
Pros:
Love the neighborhood, great location. Building is in pretty good shape and fairly clean. Could use carpet cleaning in hallways. I do like my apt. Pest control every month, elevator (small and slow, though), PT doorman/super is nice and helpful.
Cons:
Management company is awful and unresponsive.
