Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent tenant feedback for 2162 8 Avenue highlights serious concerns despite some positive aspects. The building benefits from soundproofing and generally quiet surroundings with good neighbor relations. However, pest infestations—specifically cockroaches—are a persistent issue. Heating systems are often unreliable, and water pressure tends to be weak. Garbage management and security are also problematic, with reports of stolen packages. The landlord and super show inconsistent responsiveness, leading to frustration among residents. While the location is appreciated, the building requires significant improvements in maintenance, pest control, and management responsiveness to enhance the living experience and tenant satisfaction.
