Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent reviews highlight 496 Manhattan Avenue as a desirable location with high cleanliness standards, excellent garbage management, and efficient heating. Tenants appreciate the responsive owner and good pest control. However, concerns include noise levels in some units and occasional management issues like unresponsiveness and lack of communication. Fantastic Harlem Apartment
Former Tenant
Pros:
Very nice apartment. We had no issues or problems. It is an older building but nicely updated with high end kitchen. Great sunlight in front windows (1 BR and living room). Building very secure. Never had security issues within apartment building relating to package theft, etc. Close to Morningside Park which is lovely. Nice bodega on the corner. Subway station close by. Some very nice restaurants (higher end) as well as everyday casual pick-up style restaurants nearby within walking distance. Close to everything great in Harlem. Highly recommend.
