Mouse-central
Former Tenant
Pros:
It was renovated and looked nice. Location is great.
Cons:
We had so many issues with this apartment, I don't even know where to begin. We had a W/D in unit -- my first one ever in NYC after living here nearly 10 years. It was a big deal. They were stacked on top of each other and the washer would shake and move across the floor as it did the spin cycle. I repeatedly said to the owner that this was an issue since the dryer was on top of the washer that one day the dryer was going to fall. Lo and behold, it did. We were unable to get into our bathroom, where the WD was for 2 days. Management didn't seem to care. They just asked if the dryer was still running. Uh, no....it fell out of the wall. We had a mouse problem that was so bad they literally chewed up the bottom of my bedroom door. Nothing was ever done. There was a leak upstairs that left us with a hole in our ceiling for over six weeks. Our lights fell out of our ceiling as well. One time, the building manager asked me to call him, so I did. He didn't answer so I left him a voicemail. He then blocked me so I couldn't call him again. Truly horrible place to live.
Advice to owner:
Idk, do ANYTHING to help the people who live in your places?

Worst management
Former Tenant
Pros:
Close to the train, w/d in unit.
Cons:
The management is unresponsive, even in an emergency. They left us with a hole in our ceiling for six weeks. Also a major mouse problem.
Advice to owner:

Solid apartment and great location!
Former Tenant
Pros:
Convenience of 125 but far enough away so not much notice. Great new super who’s responsive and helpful! Location to 127th st entrance of ACBD is amazing. Laundry in unit. Never had a cockroach or rodent in two year lease.
Cons:
Can get a bit noisy in the summer but not bad. Staying on the first floor was convenient but you hear everyone come and go. Small bedrooms and common areas but it’s New York!
Advice to owner:
Keep the super! He’s the best you’ve had!
