Pick your battles
Former Tenant
Pros:
+Love my neighbors on all floors! Everyone is friendly and looks out for each other. +Great location & close to grocery stores & laundry. +I feel safe; 2 locked building door entry & visible to Broadway where there is always people. +Reasonably close to 1, A, B, C, D, M4, M5, M100 +Close to many food options (dine in & take out) +Close to a Liquor store +Multiple 99 cent/bodega/misc. stores near by.
Cons:
-Bad Communication: Property Manager(s) & individuals in the office don’t have a good grasp on what’s happening; In the building, in your apt, or even the details in your lease. -Properly Management turnaround is high! In less than 3 years, we are on our 3rd supper, 2nd VP, and at least 4th office personal/tenant point of contact. If you’re not on top of things, they will not be! -The property management’s goal is to fix things as cheap as possible. This typically results in follow-up building & apartment maintance requests… which can inconvenience other tenants such as turning off water or heat to fix a single apartment’s issue but all tenants are affected.
Advice to owner:
I understand a business’s goal is to make money. However, when one is in the industry of living, quality of life must be a top priority. Investing in quality will lead to long lasting equipment, tenants, and employees.

Avoid at all cost
Former Tenant
Pros:
Big, spacious, apartments
Cons:
This was the worst experience of my life, a bar opened underneath after I moved in, the apartment was falling apart, sewage coming through the ceiling in the kitchen, front door not opening, it was just awful. Management was even worse
Advice to owner:
Get out of property management

Improved since 2019
Former Tenant
Pros:
New super since fall 2019 is much better, also new mailboxes/lockers are better
Cons:
Some noisy neighbors but not often
Advice to owner:
We still have a lot of package theft even with the new mailbox system, since USPS/UPS/FedEx doesnt use the lockers
