Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent tenant reviews highlight mixed sentiments about 709 West 176th Street. Positives include spacious units, good neighbors, and a convenient location near the A train and amenities. However, recurring issues with pests, theft, unresponsive management, and noise problems have affected residents' overall satisfaction negatively. Concerns about roach infestations, package security, unresolved maintenance requests, and the landlord's reputation for questionable practices are significant drawbacks. Despite some positive aspects, renters advise caution due to ongoing challenges with building upkeep and responsiveness.

Overall quite nice, but has a flaw or two
Former Tenant
Pros:
It’s fairly quiet and the neighbors all seem very nice. The apartment itself is great and very spacious
Cons:
We had roach issues (seems to be common as there is a sign up for removal in the main entrance). No one came to resolve this on the day they were supposed to. We also had many packages stolen over our entire lease with little management could do to resolve it.
Advice to owner:
I would suggest some kind of package system or security system to avoid the common issue of stolen packages

good space bad building
Former Tenant
Pros:
The space you got was decent at least in our unit.
Cons:
The unit was outdated and in need of repairs and even if you asked management to repair it you'd spend more time harassing them to fix things than they actually spent fixing them and when they would fix things it would be the landlord special
