Perfectly Fine Building
Former Tenant
Pros:
nice gym, generally clean and great door staff. good location, and we got newly redone appliances
Cons:
they dont turn on the cold air until like april/may, so can get pretty hot and there’s not much you can do about it except open your windows. Few pests now and then but nothing serious. Walls are VERY thin.

Do not recommend
Former Tenant
Pros:
Good location but that's it
Cons:
The management raises your rent by a few hundreds every year and will disappear whenever you need help. Stay away from them, not worth the money

great doormen and staff but management co are greedy trash
Former Tenant
Pros:
Doormen have worked there for decades and are the nicest. Nice having a garbage chute on every floor and a laundry room with ample machines. Location can't be beat: steps from Central Park and all the restaurants of Hell's Kitchen.
Cons:
The greedy property owners are hanging on to plenty of below-market rate apartments and/or combining formerly rent-stabilized apartments under a loophole that deregulates them once they are renovated. The resulting Frankenstein apartments are hideous and weirdly expensive. Recent example includes ripping out the perfectly laid-out separate kitchen in the original thoughtful apt design to stick it in the middle of the living room. Who wants to pay $6,000+ for that?
Property owner has also leased the lower floors of the building to businesses, so good luck waiting for that packed elevator.
Constant stream of strangers in the building throughout the day because of this (in case that matters to you).
Advice to owner:
Stop being evil.
