Well-run building with very nice staff
Former Tenant
Pros:
The Bromley is a really nice building on the upper west side. I've lived here for 1 1/2 years as a tenant and the staff has been the best part about living here (especially Richard). The building is well maintained, kept clean, and noise levels (Despite overlooking Broadway on the west) are manageable. I've met several people who've raised their children in this building.
Cons:
A few months after I moved in, work began on the façade of the building in accordance with Local Law 11. Despite being repeatedly told that the work would end by the winter of 2022, it continued until the summer of 2023. This impacted my ability to work from home. While the building staff and condo owners cannot expedite construction work, I wish I had been told about pending façade work before moving into the building.
