Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Tenant feedback for 198 Bowery highlights its excellent Nolita location with convenient subway access and generally clean common areas like the lobby and hallways. Residents value the building's security and spaciousness, though some report occasional theft incidents. Noise levels vary, with some disturbed by Bowery street noise while others find the building quiet. Key issues include persistent pest infestations, inconsistent heating, and frequent elevator malfunctions. Communication with management and owner responsiveness receives mixed reviews, with calls for better tenant communication and a resident portal for maintenance requests. Despite drawbacks, some tenants recommend it for its location and building security.
