Cozy place for families

Pros:
The lobby staff are nice and helpful. The building is well maintained and has made a number of capital improvements. Laundry room is clean and always in working order.
Cons:
Neighbors can be nasty - how hard is it to push your trash into the chute rather than leave it on the floor in the trash room? Sometimes people smoke in the stairwell.

Slow or unresponsive super and management.

Pros:
It's a new building and has big elevators. The building is conveniently located so you can find everything you need at a walking distance.
Cons:
The super and management company are very slow to respond and deal with issues. Sometimes even unresponsive. They will usually take up to a week to resolve a simple issue such as a sink that's not working, a broken appliance, or a problem with the bathroom. If you move in, please make sure everything is working fine, and try to sort it out as soon as possible because they won't resolve it quickly. The super will only respond to texts and if you try to call, he will hang up on you. Absolutely disgusting.
Advice to owner:
Get your act together, otherwise a serious complaint to HUD will come your way.

Pros:
Location - very close to morningside park
Cons:
Management is neglectful, and totally irresponsible. We rented a “fully renovated” and we have had so many issue. It has not even been a year yet. The problems include Plumbing with our bathtub and kitchen, grout falling out of tiles, pipes bursting, and electrical sockets burning out. The company would not take responsibility for anytime and blamed us.
Advice to owner:
Take accountability! The property owner’s approach to handling building issues is reactive NOT proactive.
