Great building to live in
Former Tenant
Pros:
Elevator, clean, trash chutes on every floor, lots of light, no noise issues
Cons:
packages get stolen from lobby

great location, bad communication
Former Tenant
Pros:
balconies, elevator, large kitchen, and great location. washer/dryer in basement option is nice to have.
Cons:
In-unit washer/dryer is a joke, takes about 8 hours to run, sounds like a machine gun, and doesn't dry all the way. Management and maintenance are very slow to respond if they respond at all. They only show up when its an absolute emergency. 90% of packages get stolen from the first floor lobby area. Heat often doesn't turn on right away even when its below the required temperature, but it comes on eventually. Flex wall is basically plywood and cuts off all light from our living room.
Advice to owner:
fix the package theft situation. respond faster to maintenance requests.

Amazing True 2 Bed/Bath/Balcony in between EV & USQ
Former Tenant
Pros:
Lived here for 3 years so far! Absolutely love the neighborhood and you can't beat having 2 balconies, 2 bedrooms, dishwasher, & washer/dryer combo. Can't say I'll live in a better apartment in Union Square.
Cons:
Took multiple phone calls with the Super to get a handyman sent to fix our AC in summer. After resigning for a 3rd year, we asked for our bathroom to be re-gouted and maintenance to inspect the place just since it hadn't happened in so long, but ownership said no.
Advice to owner:
Try to eliminate the package theft problem...it's really bad.

I don’t think there’s a worse management company
Former Tenant
Pros:
Location of the building. That’s about it
Cons:
Property management and supers are non responsive, don’t even answer their phone really. Don’t fix items that need maintenance and the maintenance guy if he does comes out stands by the machine for five minutes, doesn’t do anything then just says “it works” and leaves. Property manager refuses to call out a technician until “the super has seen it” even though he’s been out multiple times Elevator breaks frequently. Called to tell the property management company one time and they asked me if I wanted to be the point of contact for the building for the elevator. Hmmm that sounds like the job of a PROPERTY MANAGER I wonder where you could find one of those
Advice to owner:
Owner and management are lower than a snakes belly in a wagon rut
