Great Apartment
Former Tenant
Pros:
I love living in this building. The balcony is beautiful, it is very quiet, great neighbors. Other huge pluses: in-unit w/d, spacious kitchen with tons of counter space, central AC and control over your own heat (although you pay for ALL utilities, so it’s more expensive)
Cons:
Apartments tend to be dark, but that’s just because of the way the building is situated. My only major frustration is the building management companies. The landlord for the apartments can be slow to address issues (needs lots of follow up) and is gruff. The building management company (which is different) seems to be addressing some of the major plumbing issues, which is great, but also removed all the furniture from the rooftop and won’t allow any new furniture to be placed, which is a huge bummer. Why allow us to go onto the roof if we aren’t allowed to sit on a chair?
Advice to owner:
Continue to address plumbing issues and allow furniture on the rooftop

Pretty good space
Former Tenant
Pros:
Generally clean, good neighbors. Incredibly quiet, balconies! In unit washer dryer is good, and central air-though I pay for that in my electric bill
Cons:
Apartments are dark. Mgmt slow to respond to mold growth in basement after a leak a few years ago, and haven't cleaned th main hvac system. It feels very dirty and dusty in here!, and occasionally has a rotten smell that goes away very quickly. I've become one of those Febreze people.
Advice to owner:
Please get the air vents checked and cleaned if necessary

Proceed with Caution
Former Tenant
Pros:
In-unit washer and dryer
No steps to enter the building
Cons:
Currently there are major plumbing and mold problems.
