Review Summary for 3611 Henry Hudson Parkway West
Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent reviews for 3611 Henry Hudson Parkway West highlight its favorable location, spacious apartments, and friendly neighbors, creating a welcoming community atmosphere. Residents appreciate the attentive doormen, porters, and superintendent. However, concerns include inconsistent maintenance such as outdated kitchens and bathrooms, hallways and elevators needing more thorough cleaning, and issues with heating reliability and water leaks. Tenant communication with management varies, with some frustrations over slow or ineffective responses. While many approve of the owner and recommend the building, improvements in building upkeep, contractor quality, and responsiveness would enhance living conditions for renters.

My honest opinion
Former Tenant
Pros:
Location is wonderful, plenty of public parking and building is maintained somewhat well
Cons:
Hallways floors and elevators need to be thoroughly cleaned. Bathrooms and kitchens are out dated.
Advice to owner:
strip the hallways floors, clean the elevators daily and replace outer building doors that are difficult to open

Rent to high for very mediocre conditions and service .
Former Tenant
Pros:
Quiet and fairly clean
Cons:
The owners/management have a very poor communication system, completely outdated, don’t respond to problems unless it’s dangerous, ignore multiple issues, hire cheap contractors that do poor jobs, multiple problems are ongoing, the building is not energy officiant, heating leaks regularly, yearly occurrences of no/poor heat during the coldest periods, pipes leak between floors, bad conditions of walls, ceilings, paint, walls are not properly waterproofed, inner walls around windows that aren’t well installed are damp. Prices go up but the conditions in the building are not up to the standard of high rent. After 3 years of complaints two engineers were sent with the super to measure moisture within walls surrounding windows in all 3 bedrooms - during a very dry period they found water inside. Nothing is being done!
Advice to owner:
Improve the building in general, higher quality contractors, care about your tenants, update communication and conditions of walls, pipes, energy supply. Fix leaks! Lower rent!
